We have been having fun discovering different activities for the kids that have been begun my other bloggers. The blog, Think! offers this explanation of their goal on their site: "A Program Designed to Encourage Kids to Think Outside of the Box" As thinking outside the box is something we do regularly around here, I thought it would be fun to join in the weekly projects.
This weeks challenge us to "Use any materials you would like to make a trampoline that is 6 inches or smaller in diameter. Test it. Will a ball bounce on it?"
Here is what Mark- our 9 year old, came up with.
He used a glass mason jar, an old sock, and rubberbands.
This technique worked very well. A ball bounced and he even made a second "trampoline" to use to play a game with his sister.
Check out this video of his trampoline challenge.
