Unplugged Project-Photos

This weeks Unplugged Project theme was: Photos
We have many, many flowers around the house and I enjoy photographing and identifying wildflowers with the kids. I decided a good project to do with these photos was to make matching cards for the kids.

I picked some of our favorite flower photos, many with special meanings and memories to the children and me.
I used my the computer to set up 9 photos per page and then printed and
laminated them all. I would be happy to share these photos, but I need someone to e-mail me and tell me how to make them into a pdf file---I can't figure it out.
Here is the final product.
Kimberly got busy right away, searching through the pictures for matches. She also would comment about where we saw some of the flowers, and also about who planted which flowers.
"You did it, Kimmy!!"

Next weeks Unplugged Project theme is: POCKETS

Wow what a great idea! You have such an imagination! I am sorry, but I am not sure how to tell you to turn those photos into pdf. files. I would also love to know how to do it.

I use It's a free account. I don't know what kind of program you use to make your original file, but I have to export mine into a word program to get it to upload because it won't upload a print shop file. Anyway, once you have it on scribd, you just put the link in your post.
You can also put a scribd button on your blog that takes people directly to your scribd documents.
I hope that helps!?!

I am hoping that someone can tell you how to put them into a pdf because I would love to use them with my kids! Beautiful photography!

This is a great idea - thank you for sharing! I have had dozens of wildflower photos in my computer waiting for something just like this! What a fun way for kids to learn the names of our wildflowers

You can also use cute pdf, which is freeware. These pics are so beautiful! From your garden? I'd love to see a pic of the whole landscape!

Well, that was just odd! I came to comment and saw that I already had!
Did you find a way to pdf this file? I'm asking because I would REALLY like to pilfer it. ;) The pictures are so beautiful and my oldest has been begging for flower cards.

What a beautiful project, and perfect for the "photo" theme! Thanks for offering to share your photos. I was going to comment that I have never made a pdf file myself, but that there are programs out there to use. It seems that other commenters know more than I so I am glad you (and I!) got a more complete answer.
