L.E.N.S. Photo Challenge--Bokeh

Home Is Where You Start From

This weeks L.E.N.S. photo challenge was"the bokeh effect". You can learn all about this photography term at Home is where you start from. (I actually had no idea what this term meant, but when I checked out the post decribing the bokeh effect, I realized it is a style of photography that I use often.)
It is the effect of having a subject up close, and in focus, while the background is blurred.

This photo was taken at the St. Lawrence River on Wellesley Island, an absolutely gorgeous New York State park.
Head over to Home is Where you Start From and join in on the fun!!

Nice job. I never have the patience to get butterflies! This one looks like he has had a rough life.
