Mount Hope in Autumn---or--- Kids, Kids, and More Kids...

The sky was a perfect, cloudless, deep blue today. The air had a touch of briskness to it, (compared to the bonechilling temperatures it was last week).
It was time to head up to Mount Hope to take pictures of the kids (I mean pictures of God's glorious autumn colors)

I only managed to get 8 kids excited for the outing. The other two-big boys-had other things to do-like sleep.

This steep hill was just too tempting to resist.

These kids made it up.....
These kids didn't....

Mark made it the highest....must be the hat. Our daredevil?
Laura looking beautiful with the sparkling water behind her.
Amy and her twin.

half-way around the loop (the short loop)
This is definitely the peak weekend for autumn colors.

Only God can paint these colors.
We found a giant in the forest.

That rock is not big enough for 7 of you.
Gracie in the center of the "three sister's tree". This tree starts at the ground with one trunk and then spilts into three huge trees.

You have such a beautiful family! And that little one up top just looks ready to bust! Too cute.

Living in the south and still having some high temps, I am so ready for fall to get here. The photos were gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
