This evening we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa H's for a campfire, and Grandpa had a big surprise ready for the kids. He had gotten the wagon all ready for rides around the yard. Grandpa had done this years ago, but not recently, so these kids were very excited to take rides behind the lawn tractor.
Luke looked a little concerned before they got started, but once it got going there was no stopping him, literally. When we had to go inside because of darkness he was screaming and kicking,"I want to ride!"
What would a campfire be without s'mores. Everyone got working on toasting the marshmallows.

There is nothing but a little chocolaty goodness left on Luke after a wonderful evening.
Don't tell the kids though. Daddy goes back to work on Tuesday and it will be back to schoolwork after that.
