Macro-Monday---at the birdfeeder
A female downy woodpecker taking flight.
The temperature barely reached the single digits on Sunday, so the poor birds where trying to eat enough to keep warm.
It was too cold for me to head out of doors, but a clean kitchen window let me get some good photos and stay warm at the same time. A goldfinch with its winter colors. A male downy woodpecker at the suet feeder.
Look down from heaven above and touch this special child with love, protect and guide this little one till each and every day is done: remind us often that it's true: this little life is a gift from you. A miracle You've send out way! Lord, bless this little child today.
Mother Theresa pray for us!
"How can there be too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers."
