Mostly Wordless Wednesday--Puppet Show

Today our library hosted a wonderful puppet show.
I believe this was the very first puppet show Kim and Luke have ever seen!
They were both very intrigued.
First we met the "puppet lady".
Out came the main characters--today was Br'er Rabbit Falls in Love.
Our puppeteer had nothing to tell us who she was or where she was from--but she was an amazing 1 woman show.
It was a little scary--for a 4 year old,
and quite exciting.
It had a very happy ending.
I loved when the puppet lady took down the curtain to show how she put on the show. It was a great reassurance to the kids who were a little nervous--and interesting for the grown-ups.

Head on over to Ordinary and Awesome to see what others are sharing on this Mostly Wordless Wednesday.

Your kids just look totally fascinated. What a fun time.

We are in the middle of vacation Bible school right now so my kids are getting in on the puppet shows every night this week. There really isnt anything quite like puppets. They are so loveable!

How fun!! I don't see activities like this very often anymore. The looks on their faces are priceless.
