It's that season of the year again.....

basketball season, that is.
My favorite ball player, Dan, scored 10 points in the first game of the season today.

No foul there, Dan, nothing but ball!

Basketball Banquet 2008

Yesterday was the Holy Cross Boy's and Girl's 2008 Basketball Banquet.(aka pizza party)

It was a rough season for the girl's team. They only had one win-but they had fun!
It was Laura's first year on the team and she is already looking forward to next year.
Amy was awarded the most improved player! Way to go, Amy!
Then it was on to the boys' awards.

Danny was also awarded the most improved award. ( It must be because of their great coach that Amy and Danny both received this award.)

Matthew was awarded the most valuable player for this years team. He also was named to the first-string all-star team for the entire North Country Athlectic Conference.

Everyone had a super season!!

You win some, you lose some...

Thursday night the Holy Cross boys basketball team had a very convincing win over a team from the great white north. Matt scored 28 points in the game, making his points per game average 19.5.

Friday night though, they suffered a heartbreaking lose to the only undefeated team left in the league. With this lose, they are now tied for second place in the overall league standings.

Basketball season...

is in full swing around here and everyone is very busy, especially coach.

The boy's team is off to a great start with a 4-1 record. The girl's team....we will just say that the girl's team has entered in to a very important building year, and they have a lot of heart.

Way to go, coach!!
