Skype--Makes My Monday!!!!

I may have mentioned, (about 100 times) that Danny left for the seminary 2 weeks ago.

He is about 4 hours from home.

Well, let me tell you!!! The thing that "Makes My Monday" and everyday has to be Skype.

And by the looks of this photo, it makes Dan's brothers and sisters Monday, and everyday, also!!

A Family Send-Off

We enjoyed a nice send-0ff dinner for Danny tonight at Grandma Collins' house.We are so happy that Daniel is on his way to fulfill his dreams.

Times are about to change....

Two days before a big guy heads off to bring his dreams to reality...a little guy was on the Altar for his first Sunday Mass. When he saw me watching out of the corner of his eye, the small sideways smile he gave me made this momma heart melt....

One is on his way....

and another is just starting out....

We are proud of Danny....

Makes My Monday--Danny's a graduate!!

Yeah!!! He made it!!!! Well, I didn't have much doubt of that--he was Valedictorian after all!!

What Makes Your Monday!

Congratulations to the "Our Town" cast and crew

Victoria Buda's Academy of Theatrical Arts performed the play "Our Town" tonight and it was wonderful! Becky was assistant director and also performed in a role.
Danny had the role of the narrator. I have no idea how he can memorize so many lines, but I do know that when he got the script, he went in his room and within 24 hours he had his many, many lines memorized.

Holy Cross Academy's Spring Concert--and a "pub" song from Danny

We all spent an enjoyable evening at the spring concert at Holy Cross Academy. It is amazing the great progress everyone has made this year under a new director.

The kids were all great. This Saturday they are heading to a choral competition, so keep them all in your prayers for a safe and fun trip.
After the concert, I had my concert participants, Laura, Amy, and Danny pose for a few pictures.

They Clean-Up Pretty Well

They clean-up real well, especially for two kids that have missed most of school this past week.

SNOW DAY!!

I think Dan is tired of the season of "snow"!

We Are The Champions.....My Friend

The HCA boy's soccer team retained the North Country Athletic Conference championship by defeating Faith Fellowship in a 5-0 blow-out win.

School spirit was everywhere, including all over Amy,

and on Tess and Michaela.

Daddy got down to business and announced the team players. We started the game at 3:30 because we knew the lack of sunlight would be a factor near the end of the game.

All the family was at the game to cheer on Danny, our goalie, who was trying to make it 5 games in a row with no goals scored against him.

Luke was happy to have big brother attention.
By 4:30 the sun was setting on the 2008 soccer season.

Danny did it-a perfect goalie game-and another championship!!

In the darkness, the boys were awarded the big trophy.

Congratulations, team!!!! Great game!!!!
