I found these great printables over at 1+1+1=1 Calendar Connections. They are geared to the 3 to 6th graders, with a photo on one side and corresponding information on the other.
I plan on using it with all the kids, watering the info down for my 2 first graders.
The printable cards fit perfectly in our pocket chart calendar.
I didn't laminate the cards, but I did use a thicker printing paper that usual.
