Our Favorite Autumn and Pumpkin Picture Books

 Over the past month we have been enjoying pumpkin and autumn books during our little school storytime.

We are always reading a chapter book or two aloud and any giving time, but was also read several picture books a day.  Usually they are on the same topic for a couple of weeks and them we move on to a new topic.

All our books are from the library---we just don't have the space to keep such a large supply of books in the house, so I use the interloan library service all-the-time!

It is great to order the books on line, and then in a few days we are able to run into the library and pick up a whole stack of great books in a matter of minutes.

We have now moved on to our Thanksgiving Day picture books.

The illustrations and beautiful rhyming text has made this a favorite of the kids and adults alike.

The little ones have been looking through this on their own, enjoying the illustrations, and the big kids are having fun reading this over and over.

Broke out along

His painted face.

He gave a leap--

And left his place."

This will an autumn favorite from now on.....
