The Road to Grandma's House--For Daniel

These photos are for Daniel, who is now in New York City---not Central New York State.
There is a difference.
In fact, some of Danny's new friends doubted that there were roads, with no lines, with no houses, that actually go somewhere.
The photo above is a corn field road---alot of corn, growing on both sides of the road....there is a barn in the upper left corner of this picture.
And as you can see, we also have telephone poles, bringing telephone and electrical service out in this part of New York. (Although much of these lines don't bring cable...you need Dish Network for that.
Some roads have no telephone poles----but they do go somewhere.....in fact these roads go to Grandma and Grandpa's house.....these our the photos of our drive to the Labor Day picnic.
You often see skid marks on the road....these are generally from slamming on the brakes to avoid animals....deer, foxes, coyotes, and other small varmits....
To prove these are read roads....you can see in the distance headlights coming this way....
Yep, an oncoming car...you may need to make this photo larger.....in the country, you are not supposed to photograph and drive.....

I am sure anywhere you are not supposed to photograph and drive....just a common sense safety law! LOL. I can't believe there are some people out there that dont believe there are roads with no lines that go places! I see them all the time!
