I love close up photos.

I especially love photos of hands, and photos of kids hands at work always intrigue me.

It amazes me how these hands have developed from tiny newborn hands into hands so capable.

This is what our physical education looks like these days.

We have the perfect sledding hill in our backyard, and if you slide down, you have to climb up. We will be in better physical shape than we have been in a long time since we have so much snow on the ground, and it will probably still be on the ground until April!

13 degree, early morning snow on a pinecone.

This sums up the weather in our neck of the woods. We have had over 80 inches of snow since December 1st......and that's the way of our weather!

It is a cropped photo of my son's bare feet, playing in the creek.

It says something to me about childhood, simple fun, and remembering what is important in life.

This week's L.E.N.S. photoe Challenge is "Fun in the Sun".

I really smile when I see this photo because Gracie doesn't even like to get her face wet in the shower, but at the water park she spent hours sliding down the water slides.

I especially like this photo because of the shadows under her legs. It really shows how bright the sun was on this "Fun in the Sun" day!!
