Looking at the Sky of Friday

This past Monday was my 24th wedding anniversary. My hubby and I spent the evening watching the sun go down over Oneida Lake--exactly 13 minutes for our house.

It was a heavenly sunset---perfect for a celebrating so many wonderful years together.

Looking at the Sky on Friday--Over the St. Lawrence River

We took a little side trip last weekend after my nephew's graduation party.

We headed over the Thousand Island Bridge to Wellseley Island State Park.

It was a gloriously beautiful day!!

This past week we went to Enchanted Forest Water Safari and were treated to an outside circus.
As I was watching the flying trapeze group against the cloudy, mountain sky, I thought that these would be great photos for "Looking at the Sky on Friday".
These folks were just amazing!!

There isn't a much better sight than watching acrobats in the sky.

A day at the nearby state park refreshed our winter weary souls--we were able to soak in some glorious sunshine.

Looking at the sky on Friday-a backyard recap

A cold wind is blowing today and the sky has turned to a "winter sky".
The dark clouds, cold wind and sunshine seem typical for this time of year, as winter heads into central New York.

The clouds seem to say that they will be bringing snow soon.

One short month ago, the sky told a different story. A story of clear fall days and the smell of autumn leaves as wispy clouds showed us their beauty.

2 and a half months ago, the same trees with clouds building, to usher in a thunderstorm on a hot summer day.
