This weeks L.E.N.S. photo challenge was"the bokeh effect". You can learn all about this photography term at Home is where you start from. (I actually had no idea what this term meant, but when I checked out the post decribing the bokeh effect, I realized it is a style of photography that I use often.)
It is the effect of having a subject up close, and in focus, while the background is blurred.
