Saint Nicholas Day

We have been preparing for Saint Nicholas' arrival tomorrow morning.

The best place to find activities related to Saint Nicholas is to visit the St. Nicholas Center website.

The pattern for the bead magnet can be found here.

Saint Nicholas is now also with the animals at the manger awaiting the arrival of the Baby Jesus.
One of our favorite St. Nicholas' books is The Legend of Saint Nicholas.

You can check out Saint Nicholas' Day past in the old blog posts.

Happy Saint Nicholas Day

God, we pray that through theintercessions of St. Nicholas
you will guide and protect our children
.Keep them safe from all harm
and help them grow to becomeloving disciples of Jesus in your sight.
Give them strength to always mature
into deeper faith in you,
and to keep alive joy in your creation.
Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

St. Nicholas DID pay us a little visit

St. Nicholas generally pays us a visit and leaves us candy and chocolate coins, and this year was no exception.
YUMMY! YUMMY!
We have enjoyed our favorite St. Nicholas books.

Luke and Kim have had fun putting together these cute St. Nicholas puzzles from the St. Nicholas Center, our favorite site for activities.

I hope everyone has had a great feast day!!
