Sometimes here in rural New York we have snow of the ground that doesn't melt until April, but this year we have been blessed with a glorious Indian Summer
with the temperatures reaching into the 5o's.
(Of course snow is heading our way during this coming week)

On a walk out in the back fields, I found a small bush containing a few living remaining summery blossoms.

Oh the milkweed!!! I used to collect the shells in the winter and spray them with silver paint then dust them with sparkles....and decorate for Christmas!!
