A Blessed Easter: 2010

It was a glorious Easter here in "the little house".
The sun was shining, and the temperature was mild---the perfect day to remember the gifts that God has given us.
The day began early---well before hair brushing time.
The baskets were found and their contents enjoyed.
If you are going to have 100 eggs hidden in a "little house" you need to be careful where you fall asleep!
My sweet daughter Becky showed up bright and early with her traditional "He is risen" rolls.
Open them up, and the "tomb" is empty, just like the tomb discovered empty on the first Easter Morning.

A little Easter dress-trampoline jumping, after church and before heading to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

The Easter bunny paid a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house---bring some great outdoor gifts.
A couple Easter tulips have bloomed, thanks to the past week of hot and sunny weather.
This proved to be a little dangerous!
A perfect kite flying day---I discovered that I still love to fly a kite.
Danny would like to post a public service announcement: don't go barefoot in a cut cornfield!

I would like to advise: don't wear new tights in a cut cornfield.

Picture time-with numerous outtakes.
This is going in a frame!

Gracie and the daffodils
Peep cupcakes thanks to Uncle Brian
An early 16th birthday song for Amy

Kimmy and her Peep
Laura and her bunny
There definitely is a "right" way to eat a Peep cupcake.
Luke
This may be my Dad's first Peep--and I got the picture!
I hope everyone had a wonderful a day as we had!!

  3. I love those peep cupcakes!

It looks like your family had some great outdoor fun. I will remember not to run barefoot in a cut cornfield, not sure when I will find myself in one. It is so beautiful there! I wish we had a bit more nature to enjoy.

  5. Ok, I LOVE the pictures of your kids with the empty tomb rolls! We really enjoyed those ourselves this year! I think I liked them even better than the Easter story cookies. Thanks so much for linking up! :-)
