Simply Made Sunday-Sunny Peanut Butter Chews

1/3 cup peanut butter
3 Tbls. butter
1 bag marshmallows
5 cups Golden Graham cereal
Collect your ingredients and your helpers.
We used a 9x13 cake pan for this---spray lightly with cooking spray
In a large, microwavable dish, put 3 Tbls butter
and 1/3 cup peanut butter.
(Stop the "butter helper" from licking the butter wrapper.)
Added a bag of marshmallows to the butter and peanut butter.
Share marshmallows all around!!
Microwave on high for 1 minute.
Try to stir this......
Continue microwaving this at 30 second intervals until completely melted together.
stir and stir and stir
Pour this mixture into the 5 cups of Golden Graham cereal.
Mix this together---this is pretty hard to do---Mommy had to take over this step.
Try and spread this into pan---it is harder to do than with Rice Krispy treats.
My tip for the day is to butter your hand----
and this makes it very, very easy to press this into the pan.
Another very successful treat--for Simply Made Sunday-In the Kitchen With Mom.
For full disclosure, these were made on Friday---Sundays always seem to be to busy to get kitchen fun accomplished.
Yummy!!!
